Research Essay: Impact of technology in our society There is no doubt that technology has been bettering the way that we learn and makes it more enjoyable and easier than ever. No more fear from going to school early, meet teachers and waste time looking for books on large library shelves. Nowadays with the modern technology people save time, money and energy. They can do a vast number of important things in brief time, with a simple click even while staying in their beds. The way it works is the instructor first takes attendance on his/her device by having the student sign in on their devices by entering a code on the Top Hat App, the professor would then present th eir lecture slides stored on their Top Hat account, therefore, everything she presents is visible on the projector of the classroom and on each studentââ¬â¢s device. The Instructor is even able to mark on the slides while moving around the classroom. With this app, you are also able to participate in classroom discussions, answer questions and take notes which makes it a lot easier to be involved in the classroom. The way that technology helps us with communication is by allowing us to be in contact with people all over the world. Years ago, the only ways to communicate with people was either by having a face to face conversation or by sending them a letter in a mail, but thanks to technology you can reach your loved ones with a click of a button.
